ACT and WorkKeys Overview; With ACT You Can Seize the Data

When

Tuesday, November 30, 8:30am – 2:00pm

Where

Orion Education & Training 13939 Diagonal Rd. Clearwater, KS. 67026

Description

With the Kansas testing of ACT for Juniors, the PreACT 8/9 for Freshman, and the Workkeys for Juniors, schools and students have great information related to college and career readiness. In fact, with ACT, Kansas schools are set up to have comprehensive data across grade levels and core subject areas. Though the data is relevant to post-secondary outcomes, it is actionable at the high school level. High schools are now set up with data that is fantastic for utilization for KESA and IPS – besides informing curriculum and instruction.

This session will:
- Review key features of the PreACT 8/9, PreACT, ACT and Workkeys that make them relevant and applicable
- Identify useful data available through the administration of PreACT 8/9, PreACT, ACT and Workkeys
- Demonstrate features and formats of the Online Reporting Portal (if you are a user and want to follow along you can bring your computer and log-in info)
- Share ways and tools that make the data useful for KESA, IPS, and more - Reveal the power of a connected system of ACT data and how it is central to your efforts for student college and career readiness
