Description

HB 2466 (2022) set a new requirement upon Kansas schools: each high school shall offer a computer science course beginning in 2023-24. Participants will join KSDE's Stephen King in a discussion of specific concerns and how some districts are meeting those concerns. Recommendations for developing a comprehensive K-12 computer science education plan will be discussed.

This event is a KSDE Roadshow.

Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance or fees will be due; same district substitutions are allowed. If Orion is not notified of a cancellation, the district is still responsible for the enrollment fee.
