Digging Deep into Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia Day 1
WhereOnline- Zoom Connection
This is a two-day training. Day one will be July 8th and day two will be July 23rd both sessions will meet online via zoom.
What are dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia? How do we help our students with these challenges succeed? Join us for a deep dive into these topics. After experiencing these learning differences first-hand by participating in a simulation, you will learn strategies to implement in your classroom to ensure all students can be successful. We will address common misconceptions about the disorders and analyze the research to find the facts. This workshop will be presented from the perspectives of a parent of a dyslexic/dysgraphic student, classroom teacher, reading specialist and administrator. (This workshop is different from what will be offered by school districts to satisfy the KSDE 6-hour dyslexia training requirement.)
