Description

*Geared Towards Elementary Teachers*

Over the last few years, teachers have been working hard at understanding the art of restorative questioning. They have circled up with their students and had deep conversations to transform the conflict and repair the harm.

Now it’s time to put all of those skills into our students' FEET! Imagine a sidewalk on the school’s playground that is repurposed to be the school's Moving Forward Walk.. Questions such as “Are you mad/sad/glad/afraid right now? "What’s that mostly about?” “What happened?” and “How can we repair the harm that has been done?” are painted on the sidewalk. Students can use their feet to walk through a restorative process.

Come and walk with Carmen as she shares with you a restorative peace walk that helps students take the conflict and with their peer(s) figure out how to transform it and repair the harm that has been done.
