Sarah Finan
Program Director
Topeka
Sarah is a Diploma Completion Program staff member at the Topeka location. She is a certified math teacher via Washburn University and an Instructional Design & Technology major through Emporia State University. Sarah was born and raised on a dairy farm in northern Pennsylvania, loves taking road trips around the country in her spare time, and hates fake pockets.

Shannon Fisher
Online Training and Development Director
Clearwater
Shannon is the Online Training and Development Director at Orion Education and Training. Her primary role at Orion is to facilitate the Teacher Treks program which includes online professional learning opportunities for educators.
Shannon earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Kansas State University, with a minor in Music. Her master’s degree was earned at Wichita State University in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Library Science Endorsement. She is currently pursuing her EdD in Instructional Design and Performance Technology at Baker University.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys outdoor adventures such as hiking, backpacking, canyoneering, and exploring National Parks.


Jennifer Haslett
Payroll/Benefits Specialist
Clearwater
Jen is the payroll and benefits specialist at Orion Education and Training, Clearwater location. She is a Wichita State University alumni, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

DeAnne Heersche
Education Consultant
Clearwater
DeAnne serves as an education consultant, focusing on classroom management, instruction, school improvement, crisis planning, state curriculum standards, evaluations, and trauma sensitivity, among many others. DeAnne has her bachelor's degree from Southwestern College in Kansas in education and language arts. She has a master’s degree in language arts from Fort Hays State University, along with her licenses for building and district administration.
DeAnne is a nationally recognized trainer for Lions Quest, a research-based social and emotional character development program. She was recently inducted into the Educator's Hall of Fame at Southwestern College, has been recognized by KASCD for her quality professional development, and has served on several state-level committees for curriculum, character development, and school improvement.

Trina Hoover
Accounting Clerk
Clearwater
Trina is the Accounting Clerk at Orion Education and Training in Clearwater. Trina processes accounts receivable billing and payments to Orion and is also responsible for processing accounts payable invoices for all of our locations. Outside of work, Trina loves container gardening and along with her husband enjoy archery, deer hunting, and spoiling their grandkids.

Debbie Ives
Administrative Assistant
Clearwater
Debbie Ives received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Management and has served in a number of positions within the organization over the years. Her broad knowledge of the internal workings of Orion Education and Training helps her perform her duties as Administrative Assistant at our headquarters in Clearwater. Debbie spends most of her free time cooking and baking.

Tanya Jacobucci
Education Consultant
Clearwater
Tanya is an education consultant whose focus is early childhood, ELL, Aimsweb Plus, and classroom coaching.
She received her bachelor's in elementary education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and earned her master's in curriculum and instruction with a reading specialist endorsement from Wichita State University. Go Shockers! She has taught kindergarten, third and fifth grade as well as online college courses. She is passionate about building a positive, collaborative classroom culture and helping each student find their strengths to thrive in and out of the classroom.
Tanya and her husband Justin have three kids. Soccer, flag football, baseball and softball fill their schedules. When she's not chasing kids around, she enjoys running, reading, and most of all, traveling to Colorado to spend time with family.

Lori Jensen Wilson
Education Consultant
Clearwater
Lori is an education consultant at Orion, specializing in curriculum and instruction, accreditation and general standards. She provides several workshops including Motivating the Hard to Motivate and Brain-based Learning.
Lori has her both her BSE in secondary Special Education and Psychology and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State. Go Hornets! Recently, Lori has been integral in developing the state-wide collaboration efforts of the service centers under the KAESA banner and has been selected to work with the commissioner on the redesign efforts of the state.
Lori is a mom of two beautiful girls and lives in Anthony, her hometown.

Diana Kohls
Program Director
North East
Diana is the VIP/STAR Program Leader at both the NE Wichita and Rose Hill Diploma Completion locations. She formally taught Special Education at Bluestem High School and Prospect Day School. Diana enjoys playing golf in her spare time.
