MEETING EDUCATIONAL AND SUPPORT NEEDS OF SCHOOLS

The department of Professional Development provides programs and strategies that focus on effective teaching, learning, and the integration of innovations. On-site assistance, classroom coaching, along with workshops and online courses are provided to teachers and administrators.

The Professional Development team from Orion Education and Training continues to provide research-based programs to meet the educational and support needs of school districts. The team assists local districts and buildings in the school improvement process through direct on-site coaching and assistance as well as through the provisions of the AdvancEd model.

The team stands ready to assist districts in areas of KCCRS, KESA or curriculum activities, including data collection and interpretation, goal setting, site council training, team/collaboration skills, implementation of goals, and mock accreditation visits. Our team also offers monthly support groups.
